At the beginning June, we welcomed our interns for the Summer of 2021! During their time here, they learned about the Design Thinking Process, and were able to choose the department of their interest (Sales, Finance, or Marketing) and help the department solve a specific problems. These interns work with mentors/mentees to find the greatest solution. Here are some facts about our interns:
Pearse Riendeau
What college/school you are currently attending and what’s your area of study/major? I go to Collegiate School currently and I am a rising senior, so I am not currently studying anything or majoring in anything.
What’s your dream job? My dream job would be being a fishing guide out West.
What are you passionate about? I am passionate about food and finding new restaurants to eat at, and fishing.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? On a day off I love going to the James with my friends and relaxing.
Cole Mier
What college/school you are currently attending and what’s your area of study/major? UCLA, Political Science major.
What’s your dream job? Comedy writer or campaign manager.
What are you passionate about? Politics, Denver Nuggets, Filmmaking, Comedy, Survivor, Family. Not in that order.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? Doing absolutely nothing with no one OR filling my day with tons of activities with lots of different people. There is no in-between.
Taylor Dip
What college/school you are currently attending and what’s your area of study/major? I am attending James Madison University and am majoring in communications.
What’s your dream job? I cannot think of a specific dream job, but I really want to do something that makes an impact on the community.
What are you passionate about? I am passionate about friends, family, and my chocolate lab Lucy!
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? On days off I like to golf, go out with friends, and hangout by the pool.
