For the third year in a row, Dominion Payroll will return as the title sponsor for Richmond’s premier 5k race, the Dominion Payroll SpeakUp5k presented by Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. Held September 7th in Byrd Park, this family-friendly 5k race is the main awareness driver and fundraising component of the Cameron K. Gallagher Foundation whose mission is to end the stigma surrounding teenage depression and anxiety.
“Dominion Payroll does a ton of work to promote mental health and physical well-being with our staff and throughout our city. As such the CKG Foundation is one of our main community partners and we are thrilled to be able to help support their mission,” says Kevin Wilson, Director of Community Engagement at Dominion Payroll.
Participants in the sixth annual SpeakUp5k can expect the festival atmosphere they have come to know and love in years past, including bouncy houses, face painting, giant waterslides, health and wellness vendors, and silly string galore!
We hope to see everyone out under sunny skies on Saturday, September 7th at Byrd Park!
