DP is proud to sponsor the SpeakUp Race Team as they travel to Roth, Germany to compete in the DATEV Challenge Roth – the world’s biggest long-distance triathlon event.
The SpeakUp Race Team represents the Cameron K. Gallagher Foundation whose mission is to spread awareness, education and help to those battling teenage depression and anxiety.
“This is a dream come true, having all of these wonderful people share Cameron’s dream. Each person on this team has sacrificed, spent, worked and earned a place in my heart and on the finish line of an extraordinary accomplishment. They believe in our mission and their character is point to our vision”, states David Gallagher, CEO of DP.
Challenge Roth contacted the CKG Foundation specifically to attend and participate in the 2016 event. David and his wife Grace will be giving the keynote address at the Challenge Roth dinner prior to the race.
The SpeakUp Race Team is comprised of 15 individuals who have challenged themselves with intense training and preparation for this event. Four team members have never done a full triathlon, one member lost 65 lbs. in training and one member is attempting to complete the course in under 9 hours which is an elite level.
The DATEV Challenge Roth is July 17, 2016 in the southern Bavaria town of Roth, Germany.
