Dominion Payroll, a Richmond, VA-based payroll and human capital management company, has won ChamberRVA’s YP Workplace Award in the large business category. The YP Workplace Award recognizes companies that foster a positive work environment for young professionals by providing leadership development opportunities, encouraging community engagement and promoting a healthy work/life balance. This is the second time that Dominion Payroll has won the award having taken the prize in the small business category in 2014.
“We have a company culture that purposefully recognizes that work can be fun here at Dominion Payroll,” says CEO Dave Gallagher. “The workforce that we want to attract from millennials to the greatest generation expect to bring their authentic selves to work, and we want to create an environment where our people flourish.”
From perks like the office ping-pong and company sponsored sports teams to an active volunteer program interfacing with the Richmond community, ChamberRVA recognized Dominion Payroll for going above and beyond in supporting young professionals in their career development.
“Everything from the design and location of our new Scott’s Addition offices to the employee fitness and sports programs we support, speaks to level of engagement we want to have with our employees,” said Dominion Payroll President David Fratkin.
