Did you know every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood and the American Red Cross provides about 40% of that blood?
In an effort to support the American Red Cross mission, this past month, Dominion Payroll opened its doors for its annual Fall Blood Drive. We were joined by employees, friends, clients, and neighbors in our community room, which was converted into a donation center for those looking to donate.
Spearheaded by Dominion Payroll’s Cultural Specialist, Susan Nixon, we had a fantastic turnout of 30 individuals looking to donate blood and help save lives! Thanks to everyone who showed up and donated, we were able to collect 25 units of blood, which have the potential to save up to 75 lives!
