FLSA Overtime Law Change and How to Remain Compliant

Written by Admin | Jun 29, 2016 1:30:43 PM

New overtime laws affecting millions of American workers are slated to take effect later this year. The rules more than double the minimum salary threshold for employees to qualify as exempt from overtime-from $23,660 a year to over $47,000.

At DP we are prepared to help clients navigate the new laws and remain compliant.

On August 2 we are hosting a free webinar, FLSA Overtime Changes: What every business needs to know. This informative 40 minute webinar will outline the new law and how it affects your business. Sign up here.

Additionally, within iSolved there is a report FLSA Exemption Threshold that allows clients to identify which employees may be affected by the new rule and the dollar amount necessary to bring the employer into compliance. The report is available now and reports all salaried (non-hours based) employees and their FLSA status. In addition, our robust Report Writer feature allows clients the ability to create custom reports to determine the effect of non-discretionary bonuses and incentive payments on this new rule. Finally, in our Help & Guides section under the “guides” tab, you’ll find our publication on Implementing the FLSA Overtime Changes. Download it here.
