April 19th was a beautiful day in Nashville, Tennessee where area nonprofit Stronger Than My Father hosted their first annual “Give a Child Hope” golf challenge. Dominion Payroll was proud to sponsor this event benefiting the organization’s Youth and Family Programs. In addition to sponsoring, our own Jason Poling and Ray Fadool shagged a few balls while Stephanie Tillman manned the event’s registration and coordination table.
Stronger Than My Father’s Inc. helps young people succeed in life by providing academic assistance, character development, and spiritual enrichment. The Christian organization was founded in 2013 by Executive Director Marcus E. Meneese, who has worked as a youth mentor for the past 15 years. He believes his purpose is to coach and develop youth to become responsible adults and good parents, preparing them to become “stronger than their fathers.”
Stephanie Tillman, an HCM Sales Consultant with Dominion Payroll, has been instrumental in forging a relationship with Stronger Than My Father. Since September 2019 Stephanie has volunteered her time reading to the kids at school and assisting with the end-of-day pick up services. Marcus has a heart of gold,” Stephanie says. “All of his teachers and his staff work long hours for little pay. This group has touched my heart.” Dominion Payroll looks forward to continuing to support Stronger Than My Father while Stephanie continues to work closely with Marcus and his board of directors to stay engaged with the kids and his staff.
