A new chapter is underway at Dominion Payroll, and we’re excited to welcome Catrin Larson as our new Chief Revenue Officer.
With more than two decades of experience in the HCM industry, Catrin joins Dominion Payroll with a proven track record of building high-performing teams, driving sustainable growth, and developing strong relationships with clients and partners.
But for Catrin, leadership has never been just about numbers.
Throughout her career, she’s built her approach around something that feels very familiar to us at Dominion Payroll: people come first.

When Catrin looked at what she wanted in her next chapter, she wasn’t simply looking for another leadership position. She was looking for a company with the people, culture, and client-first mindset to build something meaningful for the long term.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Catrin will lead Dominion Payroll’s revenue organization and help shape the company’s next stage of growth. Her focus will include strengthening our go-to-market strategy, developing and empowering our teams, and creating a consistent, exceptional experience for the businesses we serve.
And while growth is certainly part of the vision, Catrin believes the way you grow matters just as much as the growth itself.
Her goal is to help build an organization that is sustainable, people-focused, and built for the long term, while protecting the culture and relationships that have helped make Dominion Payroll what it is today.
One of the themes that comes up again and again when people talk about Catrin is her commitment to the people around her.
Her leadership philosophy centers on creating an environment where talented people can thrive, giving teams the tools and support they need to succeed, and helping individuals grow into their potential.
That people-first approach was something Dominion Payroll CEO Dennis Gallagher immediately recognized.

One thing I've learned is that people will rise to their potential when they know you genuinely believe in them. When people feel that belief, they start to believe more in themselves, they raise their own standards, and exceptional results follow. That's ultimately how incredible teams are built.
A great cup of coffee, a walk with my dogs, a round of golf with my daughter—or hearing that we just closed a deal. Preferably all four in the same day. 😊
I was a Division I college golfer, and I’m still very competitive—which probably explains a lot about my career in sales! These days, though, some of my favorite rounds are with my daughter. I still want to win, of course. 😜
I’d love to tell you I had a master plan in my early twenties to spend my career in payroll and HCM—but I definitely did not! I fell into the industry and quickly fell in love with the people, the competition, and the opportunity to positively impact organizations. More than 20 years later, what keeps me here is that this business is ultimately about people. We help businesses take care of their employees, and we get to build incredible teams while doing it.
Pepperoni, which my dogs appreciate
It changed multiple times - actress, athlete, veterinarian. I loved people, animals, sports, and anything that involved performing or competing. Looking back, the common thread was probably that I loved being around people and being part of a team.
I want us to build on the momentum to create a revenue organization where winning becomes repeatable—we have great people, so ensuring clear expectations, strong processes, and a culture people genuinely want to be part of. If we can grow faster while taking even better care of our clients and our people, that’s a pretty great first year.
